Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 01 (ANI): While speaking to media in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on January 01, the famous Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar spoke on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests and various other current political issues. He said, "I do not agree with the viewpoint of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. In Delhi, Bengaluru or Banaras wherever the CAA protests are taking place it is not only done by Muslims." "They (government) are preparing separate law for Indian Muslims and that is the National Register of Citizens (NRC)," he added. "There should not be any religious prodigious in CAA," Akhtar further stated.
