New Delhi, Nov 20 (ANI): Group of Jawaharlal Nehru University's (JNU) visually-impaired students, who called for a demonstration in front of Delhi Police Headquarters against 'the lathi charge of Delhi Police on the students of the university and demand for justice for persons with disabilities,' were taken to Vasant Kunj police station by police. Later they were taken to Police headquarters in ITO. The demonstration is scheduled in the front of the Police Headquarters on Jai Singh Road near the Parliament. On November 18, Delhi Police had denied allegations of lathi-charge leveled by some students during the protest organised to demand complete fee rollback. The forum demanded delegation-level talks with the Chief Commissioner of Delhi Police and full protection of persons with disabilities anywhere in the national capital with an immediate effect.
