50 percent Panchayat seats to be reserved for women

New Delhi/ Patna /Gorakhpur, August 28 (ANI): India's cabinet on Thursday approved 50 percent reservation for women in village councils across the country. Under Indian constitution atleast 33 percent seats in the village councils are reserved for women but the various provinces have the liberty to raise this number.
