Wipro buys Yardley's India, Asia biz for Dollar45.5 mn

Bangalore, November 06 (ANI): India's Wipro Ltd has acquired businesses of Yardley for about Dollar45.5 million from British personal care company Lornamead to boost its consumer care unit's presence in the overseas markets, officials said on Thursday.Wipro, which gets about three quarters of its revenue from IT services, said it had bought Yardley business in Asia, the Middle East, Australasia and some African markets.
